    THAT the Court of Revision for Delton Reibling Municipal Drain convenes at 6:00 p.m. on June 12, 2023.

    Motion Carried

MOTION TO APPOINT CHAIR

  

Councillor S. Cressman accepted nomination as Chair for this meeting.

    THAT Councillor S. Cressman serve as Chair for the June 12, 2023 Court of Revision Meeting.

OPENING REMARKS BY THE CHAIR

  

Chair Cressman gave opening remarks explaining that the purpose of the Court of Revision is to hear appeals regarding the Schedule of Assessment only. The Court of Revision has no authority to change the Engineer's Report in any way. The Schedule of Assessment may be altered but the total must remain the same. If one assessment is reduced, then another assessment must be increased to balance.

WRITTEN APPEALS FROM ASSESSED PROPERTY OWNERS

  

Deputy Clerk C. Curtis confirmed there were no appeals received by the statutory deadline of 10 days before this Court of Revision meeting.

LATE APPEALS FROM ASSESSED PROPERTY OWNERS

  

Chair Cressman asked if there were any other assessed landowners who wished to appeal their assessment. There were none.

Chair Cressman asked  a second time if there were any other assessed landowners who wished to appeal their assessment. There were none.

Chair Cressman asked a third and final time if there were any other assessed landowners who wished to appeal their assessment. There were none.

EXPLANATION OF ASSESSMENT BY ENGINEER

  

Mr. Curtis McIntyre, Drainage Engineer, declined to provide explanation of assessment, as there were no appeals.

There were no appellants at this meeting.
